The Ubiquiti UniFi Enterprise Campus 48S PoE is the stacking-capable member of the ECS switch family — a 1U rack-mount Layer 3 managed switch that combines high-density PoE+++ delivery with built-in 100G QSFP28 uplinks and switch stacking for scalable, high-availability campus distribution. All 48 data ports support PoE+++ (up to 90W per port), providing enough power for Wi-Fi 7 access points, IP cameras, VoIP, and PoE++ devices across large deployments.
The port layout includes 32 × 2.5 GbE RJ45, 16 × 10 GbE RJ45, 4 × 25G SFP28, and 2 × 100G QSFP28 — delivering 680 Gbps switching capacity with 340 Gbps non-blocking throughput. Switch stacking allows multiple ECS-48S-POE units to be managed as a single logical switch, simplifying large deployments. Dual hot-swappable 1,200W PSUs, four hot-swappable fans, a 1 GbE OOB management port, and a serial console port round out the enterprise feature set. NDAA compliant, CE/FCC/IC certified.
