Overview
The Ubiquiti UniFi Enterprise Campus 48 PoE is the high-density version of the ECS switch family — a 1U rack-mount Layer 3 managed switch built for large campuses, data centres, and enterprise environments that need more ports, more PoE budget, and more uplink bandwidth. All 48 ports support PoE+++ (up to 90W per port), providing enough power for the most demanding Wi-Fi 7 access points, IP cameras, and high-power PoE++ devices simultaneously.
Thirty-two 10 GbE RJ45 ports, sixteen 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports, and four 25G SFP28 uplinks deliver 920 Gbps switching capacity with 460 Gbps non-blocking throughput. Dual hot-swappable 1,200W PSUs and four hot-swappable fan modules ensure continuous operation even during maintenance or hardware failure. NDAA compliant and CE/FCC/IC certified for UK and European deployments.

Managed by UniFi Network
The ECS-48-POE is fully managed through the UniFi Network application — the same centralised platform used across the entire UniFi ecosystem for access points, gateways, and cameras. Configure VLANs, PoE schedules, port profiles, inter-VLAN routing, and Layer 3 features from a single interface with no per-device licensing fees.
Core management capabilities

- PoE scheduling — set time-based PoE on/off schedules per port to manage power consumption and device uptime.
